- Water resistance
Breil Tribe SBT-X, SBT-2, and SBT-3 devices are IP68 certified: fully protected from dust. They can withstand rain, splashes, and accidental immersion. They are tested in a lab to resist water at controlled temperatures up to a depth of 3 meters without pressure.
Usage scenarios:
Daily use, running and fitness, washing hands with cold water.
Scenarios where it should not be worn:
Bathing, sauna: hot water generates a lot of vapor, which can penetrate the device and corrode internal components.
Swimming and diving: should not be worn due to high pressure which may damage components.
Points of attention:
If the watch comes into contact with salt water, perfume, creams, sunscreen, sanitizers, or chemicals such as cosmetics, sprays, antibacterials, and insecticides, clean it thoroughly with a damp cloth without detergents and let it dry.
