Manta 1970 Solar chronographs enhance all the elements that, more than over 50 years, have shaped the personality of this collection by combining a distinctive design with a VR42 solar caliber, a contemporary and necessary technical choice. The movement is thus powered by a small photovoltaic panel placed behind the dial, which absorbs natural or artificial light and converts it into energy. No more battery changes, then; the best choice of giving a small contribution to the environment.

Technology and performance
The chronographs in the Manta 1970 Solar collection have a
striking look, thanks to a steel case 44 mm
diameter with a knurled, graduated, rotating bezel
unidirectional.
Large dimensions for the case, then, which houses a
richly detailed dial: applied hour markers, luminescent hour
and minutes luminescent, and chrono counters with working
CD pattern.
At 12 o’clock, the Breil logo and date window with magnifying glass
between 4 and 5 o’clock for perfect date reading.
Power reserve of up to 4 months
The counter at 6 o’clock houses the power reserve display.
